Not only how best to develop a product to ensure that it can be re-purposed, re-used, recycled or recovered, but develop the logistics, design, manufacture and install the plant and equipment to bring it to reality. Strategies come with some small hands-on solutions as well as practical large plant driven realities to ensure the viability of recovery and recycling. Sound decisions are made when practical solutions are aligned with a strong commitment, knowledge and environmental benefits. When fully operational this advanced technology will be primed ready for introduction to other markets. We will be looking to possible partners and affiliates to work with us to bring this to other states of Australia and beyond.
The term Tyre recycling can come to mean chipping tyres for local and overseas burning/disposal, which done properly has some merit, it can help produce “Environmentally Friendly” concrete. It can also mean crumbing rubber, to produce recycled rubber play areas, and ergonomic flooring. The crumbs can also be used in various forms of asphalt and bitumen, as a bonafide replacement of otherwise virgin material. But the most value added process is when tyres can be processed into Fuel, carbon black, steel and nylon.

Designing equipment and developing partnerships in the large scale EfW space to convert energy rich recoverable resources to maximum value added recovery and recycling. Developing mechanical pre-processing of waste streams to maximise the potential for revenue from multiple recovery streams. Developing control systems, communications and software to maintain accuracy and initiate meaningful reporting functions for analysis in real time.
Tyre Transitions along with a national tyre collection service can ensure your end-of-life-tyres are properly recycled and put to good use in the circular economy. The tyres can be transformed into fuels and other expensive industrial additives, along with steel and nylon, for various recycling initiatives. Gone are the days when tyre were burnt to dispose of them, more recently they have been exported to be burnt in countries that do not have strict environmental laws and expectations. This meant that tyres were still being burnt, polluting some other environment; not acceptable. Now with the no emission, de-polymerization process converting tyres to Fuel, Carbon Black, with nylon and steel as lower value bi-products, the reasons and the decision is clear, recycle and recover, not landfill.

While recycled tyres can be used in many practical solutions, the local development of EfW (Energy from Waste) Plant capable of producing clean green energy, at a fraction of the cost of a full service plant. Starting at 75 100 tonne per day systems can be designed to suit individual commercial energy needs while diverting waste from landfill, and producing agriculturally sound by-product for the enrichment of soils.
